IT Support Consultant - Cambridge
We are looking for an IT Support Consultant to join a Cambridge-based Support Company, spending up to 3 days per week providing client IT support onsite, designing appropriate systems for their needs and building strong working relationships with them.
You’ll also have the opportunity to work on large scale projects and assignments, and will act as their in-house
IT support team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented, passionate and experienced individual to join a team who provide the very best account management, project management and technical support for their clients.
2.1 degree or higher, ideally in IT, but not essential
Someone who enjoys finding elegant solutions to complex issues
Excellent written and verbal communication, report writing and customer service skills
Passionate about It, and keeping up to date with trends
They are looking for a natural problem solver with a strong attention to detail, who is comfortable researching a solution under your own initiative, and is able to manage priorities, and who is able to communicate effectively.
You should have solid experience using Windows Server OS; AD; DNS and AD policies, and be able to deploy and maintain Networking and Firewall solutions.
You should also know disaster recovery techniques, and have experience performing IT audits and deploying VMWare, with experience of Windows, and ideally Mac and Linux.
