Technical Solutions Consultant

Our client is a global leader in providing printing solutions to corporate & individual clients in more than 150 counties worldwide. The company offers a broad portfolio of enterprise technological products for document management process optimization & digitalization improving the overall printing infrastructure of their clients. They are now expanding their sales team and looking for an experienced:

Technical Solutions Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-sales presentations and solution demonstrations regarding their printing solutions division
• Provide technical and functional expertise throughout the pre-sales process in collaboration with the sales and professional services teams
• Identify, qualify and document clients' business and functional requirements in terms of establishing (optimizing) a printing infrastructure
• Identify solution gaps in current client’s printing processes and communicate back to the sales team
• Deliver an appropriate technical solution with the help of the technical team to meet the customer's requirements.
• Actively work with the sales team with solution advice, proposals, presentations, and other customer communications.
• Identifies overlooked opportunities within the account.
• Facilitates smooth transition from sales to implementation by orienting the appropriate teams to the solution design.
• Communicates the value of the solution in terms of financial return and impact on customer business goals Industry acumen.
• Demonstrates current understanding of technical innovations & trends and their impact on solving customer business problems.
• Understands and applies basic financial and accounting concepts and applies them appropriately in positioning proposed solutions.

Experience:

• Technical University or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 3 years experience in technical selling and/or consultative selling.
• Experience in printing industry desired but not a must.
• Technical and/or solution experience in IT (networks, protocols, etc.) would be a plus.
• Overall business acumen with basic knowledge in finance 
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Experience with MS Office – with focus on Excel
• Fluent English
