MedSurg Registered Nurse

We are looking for several experienced Registered Nurses 
 
 
Required Qualifications
 
At least 1-2 years Hospital-based nursing experience is required. (In an acute care setting)
 
Equired Education/Licenses/Certifications 
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within three years from the initial date of hire.Texas RN license or temporary TX RN license, should obtain permanent license within 90 days. 
Compact license acceptable according to current Board of Nursing requirements.Current Health Care Provider level CPR and ACLS, PALS


 
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
Direct patient care effectively and efficiently. This may include patients with varied and complex needs.
Communicate and collaborate with physicians and professional health care teams to facilitate, coordinate and maintain efficient and quality care and achieve the desired treatment outcome.
Demonstrate clinical competence when care is provided, use technology, administer medication, perform procedures and manage emergencies, and act as a patient and family advocate to monitor and maintain patient rights.
Assume a leadership role with progressive responsibility, including but not limited to participating in or lead a unit and share governance initiatives, serve as a charge nurse or preceptor to students or new employees, and contribute to a service line or hospital-wide initiative in partnership with management.
Required Citizenship/Work Permit/Visa Status 
US citizen, Green Card, TN Visa 
 
MUST HAVE
At least 1 year of acute care experience in a trauma 1, 2, or 3 hospital.  
Must have atleast 2 years in an Emergency Room
Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited School of Nursing
TX license or compact license required
 
ADDITIONAL
Will provide relocation if you do not live in Houston, TX.
Must be vailable to start within a month
Strong communication skills required
Will hire from Mexico and Canada on a TN visa - need to have passed NCLEX, IELTS or TOEFL and have a VISA screen certificate ready
