Logistics System Business Analyst

Our client is a leading European transportation company, specialized in all aspects of transport, forwarding and logistics activities. Founded 30 years ago, they cover and successfully organize road, railway, container, and air transport, and offer excellent storage solutions. Presently, they operate in multiple offices and facilities, mainly in Bulgaria, but also in Ukraine and Romania. As a home of more than 300 administrative employees (and more than 2000 employees overall), they continue to put focus on its digital development and this is why they are currently on a transition to a new ERP software, which needs its proper guidance & functional advice.

They are currently looking for an experienced professional for the role of a “Logistics System Business Analyst” who will be responsible for the transition and development of a new Transportation Management Software, which needs its proper guidance & functional advice.

The project they initiate aims to optimize all their operational activities and for that purpose, they look for an experienced Logistics System Business Analyst to handle this change. The company provides all channels and tools needed for the successful development, completion, and maintenance of the implementation, a strong, yet nurturing and enabling organizational culture, and an attractive remuneration package. The systems that will be implemented on a group level across the different locations of the company would be Oracle-based with a focus on improving transportation management. Logistics System Business Analyst


Responsibilities:

- Performing detailed requirement analysis;
- Documenting processes;
- Performing system testing;
- Participating in the implementation of the new TMS (Travel Management System);
- Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.

Requirements:

- Strong previous experience as a System Business Analyst with focus on implementation projects;
- Understanding of logistics processes, order management and shipment management flow would be an advantage;
- Knowledge of different logistics and execution management tools will be considered an advantage;
- Fluent English.
