Our client is a rapidly expanding company in the Pharmaceutical Industry, located in the Western Cape area. They are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Millwright to join their dynamic team. If you have a passion for the Pharmaceutical Industry and possess expertise in electronics (light stream), Instrument technician, and HVAC, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute your skills and knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Utilise your specialised tools and equipment to perform daily maintenance, repairs, and installations in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify issues in the site's machinery and equipment.
- Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal functioning of machinery and minimise downtime.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Millwright, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry or a similar highly regulated environment.
- Proficiency in electronics (light stream), Instrument technician, and HVAC is essential.
- Strong hands-on skills with the ability to use specialised tools and equipment for repairs and maintenance.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Solid understanding of safety protocols and regulations in a manufacturing setting.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with the maintenance team and other departments.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment to effectively meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
