Java Developer

Our client is a leading telecommunication services provider with a strong presence on the Bulgarian market. As a part of an international group of companies, the local organization drives the digitalization in 7 countries with innovative solutions and new business ideas.  

The company is currently building an entirely new team of programmers, who will take over the end-to-end process of development of new features and support of an Austrian mobile client-focused program fostering digitalization and self-service opportunities. The system will boast microservices architecture and containerization and will be integrated with a number of other internal systems of the company. They will be facing multiple business flows and will have the opportunity to contribute with ideas for the development of new features and the upgrades of existing ones. Due to the fact that this project will be centralized entirely on a local level, there will be significant career growth opportunities for new team members.

Java Developer


Responsibilities:

• Develop & automate complex new business processes or enhance/change existing ones;
• Analyze business requirements and describe functional and non-functional system requirements;
• Use APIs/REST Services where available and prioritize this solution before frontend automation;
• Handle reported defects within the agreed SLAs;
• Test and deployment of changes/defects following Change Management, Security and SOX rules;
• Create and maintain documentation on Confluence, Jira, ServiceNow, Remedy.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in Java software development;
• Experience with Spring, REST, Hibernate;
• Experience with service-oriented architectures, SOAP and REST APIs and data-processing;
• Experience with SQL;
• Understanding of source control‘s – Git, SVN;
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies;
• Fluent in English.
