Infrastructure Test Engineer

Our client is a global telecommunications service provider with a strong presence on the Bulgarian market. For their constantly growing technical team, we are currently searching for an:


Infrastructure Test Engineer


Responisibilities:

• Monitor and maintain non-production integration environments;
• Provide technical advices and guidelines to development teams;
• Participate in the review of designs and the deployments;
• Maintain the versioning / patching of deployed software;
• Ensure the high availability and recoverability of systems and data;
• Resolve incidents or queries in the environments promptly and effciently;
• Prepare environments in support of projects activities;
• Be part of infrastructure troubleshoot efforts (storage, firewall, network, DB);
• Plan and execute test data within a specific project setup.

Requirements:

• University degree in the field of IT/Telecommunication or other relevant field;
• 2+ years of experience in maintaining, supporting, and deploying production and non-production enterprise systems;
• Strong experience with Unix/Linux or Windows web-based applications;
• Practical knowledge for any of the Web and Middleware products like Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic, WebSphere;
• You have a good knowledge of Red Hat Linux, VMWare, Container, Ansible, Kubernetes/OpenShift;
• Experience with shell scripting and script languages on Unix/Linux or Windows;
• Fluent English – written and spoken.
