Our goal is to make all terminals globally energy independent. To do that, they are looking for a team to organize and follow up on this innovation for each terminal in each country. Your responsibility is to purchase agreements for electricity, natural gas, solar panels, battery systems, wind turbines, energy management software, etc. and the tasks related to this.
Responsibilities:
· Perform market analyses.
· Compare prices.
· Analyze energy production and consumption.
· Organize tenders.
· Request and analyze information and offers.
· Compare and select partners.
· Make, negotiate, and close contracts with new and existing partners.
· Follow up on existing contracts (also international).
· Search for new partners if necessary.
· Extend or renew existing contracts.
Profile
· You have a master’s degree or equivalent by experience.
· You have a basic knowledge of the Office 365-tools.
Practical requirements
· You have good and clear English skills at B2-C1 level, this is the language you will communicate in.
· Other languages are a plus, We have terminals all over the world.
· You have a driving license B or you are getting one soon.
Mindset
· You are hands-on.
· You are an analytical thinker.
· You are flexible, your work hours can vary depending on your deadlines and workload that day.
· You have an interest in renewable energy.
You are willing to travel abroad for short periods. We are flexible, it is also a possibility to work in a terminal in your home country. Only the training would be in Belgium. It is also possible to work on a project abroad for a couple of years.
· The first interview will be with a the recruiter to ensure that you aware of the vacancy and the terms and conditions for which you apply.
· The second interview will be with the client via Teams or Zoom in English
