Senior DevOps Engineer – Fully Remote

Responsibilities:

- Improve the engineering team velocity by building scalable infrastructures, automate and express ideas and configurations through code
- Design, develop, and operate distributed cloud-native applications
- Translate product requirements to well-crafted software solutions
- Write clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
- Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure outcomes meet business objectives and compliance standards
- Participate in code reviews
- Coaching, documenting and training engineers on Ops concepts, requirements and impact on the end user experience.

Requirements:

- DevOps expertise: 3+ years of experience in AWS, with exposure to containerization (e.g. Docker).
- Expertise in developing, monitoring, tracing, logging and troubleshooting cloud applications
- Experience with orchestration of infrastructure through code (CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible)
- Experience with ensuring application security in the Cloud
- Experience with monitoring and visualization tools (Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana, etc.)
- Experience with NoSQL data backends (Elasticsearch, Redis, MongoDB)
- Experience with Jenkins / CircleCI / Capistrano
- Fluent English
