Financial Analyst

Our client is a leading telecommunication services provider with a strong presence in the Bulgarian market. The company has over 20 years of presence in the Bulgarian market as one of the first mobile operators with high standards in the care of its employees and customers. In the last 5 years, the company has transformed itself into a trusted ICT service provider, but also into a key location in its international telecommunication group with central in Austria, taking over a central role in various business operations. As a result of this strategic expansion, they are looking for a senior "Financial Analyst" to strengthen and subsequently lead financial operations on certain key projects for their development. 

The person in the role will support key planning and controlling functions surrounding these projects. She or he will provide operational help through SAP FI/CO and will perform various financial analyses, reports and presentations, that will not only support the overall management of the projects but will bring much insight and improvement on the financial part. Financial Analyst


Responsibilities:

- Own controlling and planning operational financial processes of the company;
- Participate in the preparation of financial evaluations/business cases for key ongoing or future initiatives;
- Assist with providing financial project analyses, business reports and propose points of improvement;
- Engage actively in processes related to budgeting, costs/revenue allocation, financial reporting and other financial operations; 
- Approve orders, contracts and annexes related to the ongoing projects; 
- Be a vital part of decision-making processes related to the future of the company;
- Act as a key SAP FI/CO user in relation to controlling and planning activities for the above-mentioned projects.

Requirements:

- University degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics; 
- Strong knowledge in financial planning and controlling operations;
- Experience with SAP FI/CO; 
- Very good knowledge of accounting standards, including IFRS 16;
- Very good knowledge of MS Excel; 
- Sharp analytical mind, proactive and stress-resilient personality;
- Fluency in the English language.
