IP DDoS Network Engineer

Our client is a leading telecommunication services provider with a strong presence in the Bulgarian market. The company has over 20 years of presence in our country as one of the first mobile operators with high standards in the care of its employees and customers.

Their successful partnerships with many leading vendors in this field provide them with a wide range of different products and services (areas such as SaaS, IT Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Network Security, etc.) that they offer, implement and support for their corporate customers. For their international team of specialists who work on providing services to large corporate clients in European countries, we are looking for a network engineer with experience in planning and implementing network security solutions. The position is based in Sofia and allows hybrid work from office/remote option.


IP DDoS Network Engineer


Responsibilities:

- Participating in planning, testing, implementation, operation and maintenance of customer-orientated technical solutions;
- Executing daily operational tasks – verifications, changes, software upgrades;
- Managing multiple technical implementation projects with minimal supervision;
- Working in exclusively international English-speaking environment across Europe;
- Giving internal presentations and trainings;

Requirements:

- 2+ years of professional experience in IP, network security and DDoS solutions - design, configuration, and implementation;
- Networking in a multi-vendor environment (Cisco, Nokia, Netscout or others) - with focus DDoS;
- Familiarity with the common network and security concepts and analyzing tools like Wireshark, Netflow, IP SLA etc.;
- Certification from major security or network vendors (CCNA, CCNP etc.) or relevant experience will be considered advantage;
- Hands-on experience with IP Networking – OSPF, BGP;
- Good command of English language;
