As a result of their strategic expansion, our client is looking for a “Cloud Operations Engineer (Azure)” to join their internal administration team who is responsible for the operation, monitoring, troubleshooting and documentation of the Azure Management landing zone. Excellent English is very important for the position because she or he will communicate actively with colleagues from abroad.

The position is within an international team which will work directly with experts from the company's headquarter in Austria and allows a hybrid way of work - both home office & office. Cloud Operations Engineer (Azure)


Responsibilities:

- Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines;
- Configure Virtual Networks (VNets) and subnets incl. IP routing;
- Take care of Azure Firewall (rule management);
- Oversee Azure Bastion to provide secure connectivity to virtual machines;
- Manage Azure private DNS incl. BIND;
- Support Identity and Access Management;
- Engage with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Splunk (react on events and abnormalities);
- Support Azure Backup;
- Support application subscription (deployment, IAM and general Network topics).

Requirements:

- 3-5 years of technical experience in the field of configuration and operation of Cloud infrastructure;
- Azure Cloud knowledge and operational experience;
??????- Experience in one or more of the following: ARM Templates, JSON, YAML, PowerShell, Kusto language;
- Capable to operate Cloud services and components according to security guidelines reliably;
- General ICT knowledge of service management (ITIL), Microsoft environment.
- Communicative, analytical personality, keen to solve problems and keep a structured way of working; 
- English language fluency.
