TASKS DESCRIPTION

The goal of Katoen Natie is to make all terminals globally energy-independent. In order to do that, they are looking for a team to organize and follow up on this innovation for each

terminal in each country. Your responsibility is to perform aftercare and maintenance of new and existing assets.

Responsibilities:

Predesign energy in new buildings together with the team.

Follow up on, and renew the electrical inspection by solving remarks.

Follow up on the energy production units via software.

Organize relay tests, themography, zone ATEX zones, etc.

Keep all the energy production units running efficiently and contact suppliers if they do not.

Request, check and analyze energy consumption reports.

Report anomalies.

Resolve issues.

Perform general analyses of the energy consumption and execute the necessary improvements.

PROFILE

Background

You have an engineering degree, a bachelor degree in electromechanics, or equivalent by experience.

You need a higher knowledge of Excel.

You have a basic knowledge of the Office 365-tools.

Practical requirements

You have good and clear English skills at B2-C1 level, this is the language you will communicate in.

Other languages are a plus, Katoen Natie has terminals all over the world.

You have a driving license B or you are getting one soon.

You are flexible, your work hours can vary depending on your deadlines and workload that day.

You have an interest in renewable energy.

You are willing to travel abroad for short periods. Katoen Natie is flexible, it is also a possibility to work in a terminal in your home country. Only the training would be in Belgium.
