RECEPTIONIST/FRONT DESK/ADMINISTRATOR

We are seeking a skilled Office Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional front desk services, handling Website sales enquiries, ensuring an outstanding walk-in customer experience, and performing administrative tasks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must. As the first contact for visitors and callers, the Office Receptionist plays a crucial role in maintaining a positive image of the company.
Responsibilities
Front Desk
Receive visitors and clients with a welcoming and professional demeanor.
Manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate individuals or departments.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a presentable and professional atmosphere.
Internal Sales
Respond to Website enquiries.
Provide basic product information and assist clients and visitors with product enquiries.
Customer Experience
Create a positive and memorable experience for all visitors and customers.
Address customer enquiries and requests promptly and professionally, and act as a liaison between walk-in customers and relevant departments.
Administrative
Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, scanning, and document management.
Proficiency in Office Suite
Utilize Microsoft office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), to create documents, spreadsheets, and emails.
Qualifications
Minimum Grade 12 - additional certification in administration is a plus.
Two years’ experience as a receptionist or in a related role, and in the steel manufacturing industry is a plus but not essential.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize affectively.
Working hours will be from 07:00 – 16:30. Must be willing to complete tasks after hours if necessary or when the workload requires working late.
