National account manager






About the job:

We are looking  for a National Account Manager to make a difference in a global food business. This role is for someone that has a strong commercial drive to deliver the external joint business plans which drives both the clients objectives and those of our customers. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who wants to push the boundaries to grow relationships and deliver a strong and sustainable performance.


 Candidate's Role:


Managing a complex set of customers, the successful applicant will have overall responsibility for  existing customers made up from numerous buying groups. The successful applicant will be expected to work effectively and efficiently across the entire UK making regular visitors to your key customers and attending trade shows and buying group commercial meetings. The willingness to embrace lots of travel and overnight stays is essential. The successful applicant is also expected to engage in tough negotiations and to work closely with customers to plan future strategic direction.



Qualifications and skill:




  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree 
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experienced in customer relationship management skills
  • Confidence to sell on a commercial level 
  •  Experienced in problem solving 
  • Wholesale selling or buying experience is desirable
  • Well Organised 
  • Team player
