ABOUT THE POSITION
Analyze and solve malfunctions on fully automated production installations: Any technical problem (both electrical, mechanical, PLC, frequency control, motors, pumps, robots) Optimize automated production plants in terms of production output, quality, and technical reliability.
Perform planned preventative and corrective maintenance on several installations to avoid failure.
Identify, repair, or replace defective systems or components of industrial automated installations in accordance with regulations and machine specifications. The necessary training and support will be provided.
Be closely involved in the introduction of new installations and processes.
Work in a team with fellow technicians.
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS
Technical degree, preferably a Bachelor of Energy Technology or Electromechanical, or 7 years’ experience, specializing in electrical installation techniques, measurement, and
control techniques, with related experience.
Electromechanical background.
Show an interest in automation, PLC, robotics, (Siemens TiA, SattLine, Profinet, CamarC3G, ABB, IRC5)
Strong analytical and problem-solving capacity.
Experience with automated production lines and PLC-controlled machines.
Certified according to BA4 BA5 (nice to have)
Takes initiative and shows the will to grow and expand knowledge.
A passion for the latest technological developments.
Willing to work a 2-shift system or permanent night shift.
English – fluent.
Willing to learn Dutch (Lessons will be provided by the client).

NON-EU CANDIDATES
Take note - It will take approximately four to six months to receive a residence and work permit in Belgium.
Workers from outside the European Union are obliged to cover the costs of issuing a police clearance certificate, medical examination, legalization, and translation of documents themselves.
The cost of the visa (€ 180) is also covered by the candidate. The company only covers the cost of the administrative fee which must be paid in Belgium at the time of the single permit application.
INTERVIEW PROCESS
The first interview will be to ensure that the candidate is aware of the vacancy and the terms and conditions for which he/she is applying. We will also check the candidate's motivation to work for the position they applied for.
Online test to check technical knowledge.
2nd interview is with the client via Teams or Zoom in English.
